The journey began with Shivalingappa Shankreppa Aralimarad, a visionary entrepreneur who entered the clothing business guided by a strict moral code. He firmly believed that “Customer is God” and that every customer deserved the best quality at the most honest price. This philosophy became the backbone of the business and continues to guide the brand even today.
He named the store after his son, Shivaputrappa S. Aralimarad, who carried forward his father’s values with dedication and commitment. Together, they emphasized ethical business practices, fair pricing, and uncompromised quality—earning the trust and loyalty of customers across generations. Over time, S S Aralimarad & Bro’s became synonymous with reliability and tradition.
Shopping at S S Aralimarad soon became a cherished tradition, especially for weddings. Families have returned generation after generation, making it a preferred destination for bridal, festive, and occasion wear.
Today, SSA operates from a spacious 3,000 sq. ft. store, making it one of the largest clothing stores in Dodawad, Taluk Bailhongal. The store features dedicated sections for sarees, ladies wear, men’s wear, and kids wear, offering a wide variety of products under one roof.
The third generation—Shivaputrappa and Shivashankar, sons of Shivalingappa Aralimarad—joined the business at a young age and played a key role in strengthening and expanding the company. They strongly believe in the importance of human connection and personal service in business.
The fourth generation brought renewed vision and innovation.
Guru Aralimarad, son of Shivaputrappa, entered the business with the goal of making SSA a household name across the Belagavi district. His innovative approach and passion have introduced fresh ideas while preserving the brand’s core values.
Sachin Aralimarad, son of Shivanand Aralimarad, expanded the business further by developing men’s clothing and introducing ready-made garments for the first time. He has been instrumental in category expansion and modernization, shaping the future growth of the company.
